More than 55,000 music fans turned up at the Abu Dhabi Corniche on Friday for the second night of Yasalam Beats on the Beach.

Dubai-based singer Esther Eden, who recently launched her debut album, opened the evening. She was followed by Middle East heart-throbs, the boys from The5, who raised heart rates with their stage presence and energy, and even managed to serenade one lucky fan to their hit Zina.

Next up was US rapper Big Sean, who got fans jumping to Clique, followed by X Factor star Adham Nabulsi whose unique style has become a hit across the region and set the tone for superstar Sean Paul to bring his groove to the Corniche stage. The Jamaican gave fans exactly what they wanted with hit after hit from his dancehall catalogue and brought the crowd to a frenzy with his classic Temperature.

On Yas Island, as electronic music icons Chemical Brothers warmed by du Arena, Paul headed for an after-hours party at the MAD nightclub to join Rita Ora. At the VIP Room Dubai pop up on Yas Island, Paris Hilton opened for the DJ Luciano, setting the tone for the rest of the night. Iris hosted HVOB and Mahmut Orhan, while house pioneer Solomun took his ultra-modern twist to the scene with a set at du Forum Crystal.
