Rapper Lil Wayne failed to attend his headline slot at the concert on the Caribbean island where he was supposed to have joined acts such as Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and French Montana.

According to, festival organisers claim the Sucker for pain rapper suffered from a seizure in Miami on Friday night; the star has previously dealt with a number of seizures this year including two on the same day while on an aeroplane.

However, a representative of the Forever musician has denied these claims, telling the publication that Lil Wayne wouldn’t be showing up to the event on Saturday due to a “breach of contract”.

No other information was given by the representative, and no reason for his cancellation has been confirmed by either party.

The news comes after the rapper hinted at an early retirement earlier in the year.
