Julio Iglesias, father to Enrique Iglesias, is heading to Sharjah for a performance this summer. The Grammy-winning singer, 72, will perform at Al Majaz Amphitheatre on May 3.
Iglesias is known to be one of the best-selling artists of all time. When he was younger, he was the goalkeeper for Real Madrid’s reserve team, but after injuring his spine in a car accident, he began to learn guitar in the hospital.
He has now released more than 80 albums and has sold upwards of 100 million records worldwide in 14 languages.
