Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez and Hamilton creator-star Lin-Manuel Miranda have teamed up on a new song, Love Make the World Go Round, to memorialise the victims of the June 12 Orlando, Florida, nightclub mass shooting and to benefit the community organisation Proyecto Somos Orlando.
Lopez and Miranda posted tweets teasing the song on Monday, with Miranda alerting his followers to “a taste of new music you don’t need tickets to hear.”

A 30-second preview video has been posted on YouTube for the track that will be available on iTunes, although a release date hasn’t been specified.
Lopez tweeted to her followers that she has been working with Miranda “on something very special.”
The song sample includes snippets of Miranda rapping and Lopez singing the song’s chorus.
One verse states:
I’m wide awake
Ready to create
Everything I’ve imagined
Tears
Without any hate
Crying for change
Causing a chain reaction
Proyecto Somos Orlando will, according to its website, “address the long-term needs for mental health services that are culturally competent and bilingual. Proyecto will enable care to be delivered to those affected directly in the communities in which they live. Beyond emergency assistance, they will be provided with case management, crisis intervention, and mental health services, among other needs.”
