Rest Upon The Wind
For a touch of culture this weekend, get to The First Group Theatre for Rest Upon The Wind, a play inspired by the life of Lebanese-American poet, Khalil Gibran. Straight from London’s West End, where it enjoyed a sold out run, the play, which was written by celebrated playwright, Nadim Sawalha, tells the story of Gibran and his sister, as they struggle to adapt to life State Side, and the play is loved for its portrayal of typically Arabic humour and warm, close family life.
