There’s no doubt that Enrique Iglesias is a true entertainer. The 37-year-old has been on the international music scene since 1999 after all — and on Friday night at the Dubai World Trade Centre, he performed some of his biggest hits including Bailamos, Escape, Tired of Being Sorry and Rhythm Divine.

For a rendition of Taking Back My Love, the Latino heartthrob decided to bring up a fan on stage, but not before dealing with the grumpy security men at the front.

“Dubai security!” the frustrated singer shouted. “Let fans do what they wanna do!”

Thankfully, he won in the end and Abdullah from Kuwait joined the singer on stage.

It wasn’t the last time Enrique picked someone to join him — during the encore, a lady got to dance and even shared a cheeky snog with him while he sang ‘Hero’.

Enrique ended the show with the two tracks he sang at the beginning of the concert — Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You) and I Like It. That was strange, because he is not short on hits, and he did leave out notable ones, such as Do You Know? (The Ping Pong Song). With the show ending at midnight (he came on stage at 10:40pm), I had a sneaky feeling fans, especially those who bought the front tickets, might have felt a little short-changed.
