The UAE is a stop-off for a free live performance by British singer Adele next week — well, sort of. She may not be able to sing for the time-being due to throat polyps but that doesn't mean that fans have to miss out on Adele's live singing voice.

The singer, whose star has risen with breakneck speed this year following the release of her 13-million-selling album 21, recorded her recent performance at Britain's Royal Albert Hall for release as a DVD later this month, and will be promoting it with free cinema screenings of the 90-minute show in cities around the world, including Dubai on Wednesday. The show includes tracks from her first album, 19, such as the hit Make You Feel My Love, the chart-topping Rolling in the Deep and covers including Bonnie Raitt's I Can't Make You Love Me.

Fans can apply for the free tickets to the screening, which takes place at 9pm, Mall of the Emirates, at adele.tv.

Live At The Royal Albert Hall releases on November 28 with behind the scenes footage and a live CD of the show.
