Iconic South Indian singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, popularly known as SPB, will return to Dubai for a performance on December 9 at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium. The concert is part of A Golden World Tour celebrating Balasubrahmanyam’s 50 years in the Indian film industry.
The 70-year-old will be joined on stage by other renowned singers including K.S. Chitra K. S. Chitra, S. P. Shailaja, S. P. Charan, Shweta Mohan and Karthik, who will perform their favourite SPB songs with the icon himself. The numbers will span hits from Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films.
SPB has sung more than 40,000 songs, and organisers say the tracks featured in the Dubai concert will be the “best of the best”.
Tickets range between Dh49 and Dh1,999, and are available on platinumlist.ae.
