The Philippines' "singing divas" Angeline Quinto and Sheryn Regis are coming to Dubai for a concert on April 4.
The duo will be performing at Al Nasr Leisureland's Ice Rink.
Quinto recently released the album Higher Love, which includes the dance hit Sana2x - a song she composed.
Regis, who rose to fame in TV singing competition Star in a Million, is the voice behind the music themes of network ABS-CBN’s TV series Marina, Kampanerang Kuba, Krystala, Maria Flordeluna, Gulong ng Palad and others.
What to expect
Organisers have described the upcoming concert in Dubai as a "battlefield of vocal calisthenics, musicality, precision and musical range".
Asked if Regis and Quinto will collaborate on stage, AJ Fabia of Prolife Events said, “They will have their solo moments, but we made sure that there will be a showdown-like segment during the concert.”
Fabia said part of the proceeds from the concert will go to Larry Castro, a Leukemia patient who needs urgent bone marrow transplant. For every ticket sold, Dh10 will go to Castro.
