Range Rover has taken a lot of the disguise off, meaning the prototype model now reveals how similar the new Range Rover will be to the Sport iteration. Don’t expect a Sport revolution, though — Range Rover will stick to the design seen on its production base-model Rangey, with minimal detail changes to the front fascia inspired by the Evoque — grille, air intake, lower bumper treatment — for some added aggressiveness.
The production car will be launched next year, and is likely to show off its new skin at March’s Geneva motor show. The surprise of the range will be a hybrid version, rumoured to be accompanied by a diesel combustion engine. In the Middle East, naturally, you can expect a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 model pushing out upwards of 510bhp.
