Dubai: Al Tayer Motors, the UAE's premier automobile dealership, has reported 100-fold growth since its inception, serving as a key landmark as it commemorates its 25th anniversary this year.
The company, which represents leading American and European automotive brands in the UAE, commenced operations with the signing of its first dealership agreement with Land Rover and Rover in 1983.
Strategic tie-ups with some of the world's leading automotive brands, including Jaguar, Ferrari, Maser-ati, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and more recently Spyker have maintained the steady growth of the company. "At a time when the UAE's automotive market was still developing, Al Tayer Motors identified the potential for luxury cars and formed partnerships with leading international brands that embody comfort, engineering excellence and power-packed performance," said Saeed Al Tayer, Managing Director, Al Tayer Motors LLC.
With a number of industry firsts to its credit, including the first air-conditioned service centre in the Middle East, Al Tayer Motors was also the UAE's first importer to offer complimentary replacement vehicles for customers servicing their cars.
"Today, Al Tayer Motors represents the largest number of automobile brands in the UAE as a single distributorship and has a network of 17 showrooms, after-sales centres, body shops and parts centres across the country," added Al Tayer.
The company's flagship facility on Shaikh Zayed Road in Dubai is one of the largest automobile showrooms in the region and is the company's model for future growth and expansion.
Al Tayer Motors is planning major network expansion with many more showrooms, body shops and after-sales centres in various locations including Mussaffah in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah over the next two years, in addition to its existing facilities.
