It’s defo time for a spot of Wild Wadi-ing. I usually only go when I have friends visiting, as a waterpark brings out the inner-kid in everyone, but I’ll be hitting up the ladies night this Friday, and I imagine there’s something quite decadent about floating around the lazy river at midnight (it’s open til 1am!) if I last that long without pruning, of course. Saturday evening I’m off to Nobu at Atlantis, and am drooling already at the thought of the classic Black cod – and where better to wear this divine little red number by Elle at Splash? Am loving the super-chic new collection, which is all classic lines and understated glam. Am currently plowing through Emma Forrest’s Your Voice In My Head on the Kindle (I love my new Kindle), which I highly recommend you download if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to date Colin Farrell (Spoiler: Not good!)

I’m heading to the capital this weekend to catch up with a few friends there, and we’re definitely going to head to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, I’ve already been there three or four times, but I just love it. And I’ll also be treating them to the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse in the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr for dessert – their sticky toffee pudding is the best I’ve ever tasted. Then, back to Dubai, and the rest of the week will be all about basketball practice with my MPAC league team. We play outside twice a week, Bikram basketball! I’m also still looking for a series to get me through summer that’s as awesome as Game Of Thrones, thoughts? Drop me a line on facebook.com/scenemagazineuae if you have any recommendations!

Hello from London! I’m midway through my summer (read: rain-soaked) holiday in the UK, and am currently on my way to the airport to start the second stopover in sunny (honestly!) Sweden. But never mind the rain, I’ve been catching up with pals between downpours, shopping like a lunatic (just check out my new leopard print heels from River Island – sooo comfortable!) and even managed to rewatch Spice World to remind myself why the fab five never pursued movie careers after their first flick (yep, my memory served me correctly. They were rubbish). With just a week of holiday left, I’m planning on soaking up some Stockholm sunshine and indulging in some serious R&R – by that of course, I mean retail therapy and reading (Fifty Shades Of Grey, you’re up). Happy Holidays!

Tonight we’re waving goodbye to our lovely Web Editor, Morven, at Nelson’s Bar, I have no doubt there will be a few tears but I know there will be lots and lots of dancing!
Now that it’s officially too hot for even the pool, I’m taking it indoors on Friday and heading to the Dubai Flea Market. I love checking out all the bits on sale at Safa Park, so I’ll be interested to see what it’s like inside Al Safa Hall. I’m on the lookout for fun furniture and any antique-looking pieces. Then on Saturday I’ll be heading to a polar-opposite climate and visiting the penguins at SkiDubai, I can’t even tell you how excited I am about all the Peng-friend fun. On Wednesday it’s my mum’s birthday, so we’ll be taking her out for a birthday treat, I can’t tell you where though, as it’s a surprise. Happy birthday, mum!
