Dubai: The few seconds you spend waiting inside a lift before going to your floor of choice can be put to good use if you have two things — a creative eye and a camera.
Capture an elevator moment and you might just be the lucky winner of the ‘Kone Photo Contest - Uplifting Views in the UAE,’ a competition that will be launched by lift manufacturer Kone Middle East on July 10.
Photos that depict funny moments in an elevator, beautiful or exciting views can be submitted until August 8 to Kone’s dedicated Facebook page. The picture can be taken using any camera. Even pictures taken using mobile phone cameras will be accepted, organisers said.
“It’s not the quality of the picture that we will judge but the view. We’re more focused on what the picture tells and judge it based on the photographer’s imagination and creativity,” Noha Kadora, Marketing and Communication Specialist at Kone, told Gulf News.
Anyone above 18 years of age is entitled to submit one photo entry with a description for free. Participants could win a two-night stay for two people in Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi or dinner vouchers to restaurants in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
