When the Jumeirah Sceirah was closed back in January, it felt like a little bit of Dubai’s thrill factor had disappeared. But we can now reveal that Wild Wadi is opening a brand new ride for adrenaline junkies to scream their way down this week (on September 4), and it’s a reinvented and wilder Jumeriah Sceirah. The strictly-no-chickensallowed ride will have thrill-seekers positioned behind a trap door that they will then shoot through, unable to see what lies beyond – which just so happens to be a 120m-long, 32mhigh ride that has you travelling at speeds of 80kph. Yikes! Cost Dh220.
