Elementary star Jonny Lee Miller and his wife, actress Michele Hicks, sold their Los Angeles home for $1.66 million (Dh6.09 million).

The 1936 Spanish Revival-style house features a beamed cathedral ceiling in the living room, a formal dining room, a sunroom, three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and 2,832 square feet of living space.

Miller, 40, plays Sherlock Holmes on the mystery series, which started last year, and starred in Eli Stone (2008-09).

He was on a season of Dexter in 2010 and in the films Hackers (1995) and Trainspotting (1996).

Hicks, 40, was in the series The Shield (2004-08) and Heist (2006). She will star in the upcoming thriller The Adventures of Beatle and the horror film 2 Bedroom 1 Bath.

They bought the property in 2009 for $1.56 million.

The Times' Mapping LA database identifies the neighborhood as Hollywood Hills.

The Multiple Listing Service, however, places it in Los Feliz.
