There was only a small, negligible dip in performance two hours after sex.
Size matters
“Penile size has no link to virility or conception and many women may be satisfied with their partner’s size,” says Dr Abdul Saboor Razvi, specialist urologist at Dubai’s Prime Medical Centre. It does not, however, stop men with a bigger penis from being more admired and fantasised about, he adds.
She can’t get pregnant the first time she has sex or if you do it standing
Pregnancy can occur if a woman has unprotected sex at the time of her ovulation (between the 8th to 16th days from the end of her last menstrual cycle). “So if her first time falls during this period, she can potentially get pregnant,” says Dr Razvi. “Sex when done standing has no effect on conception whatsoever, as the spermatozoa will swim up the female genital tract regardless of the position,” says Saunders.

Many believe that fantasising about a celebrity could affect your sexual relationship with your partner. “Though this is very context-specific and could be different from person to person, I believe that if the couple has a lack of sexual intimacy and are less aroused with each other, it may actually help their sexual life. But of course there is a sensible limit to everything,” says Julia Saunders, sexual health educator and director of SLI education. Any sexual act starts in the brain before it turns physical. It is ok to fantasise about your favourite celebrity if it does not reduce your commitment to your partner.

“It is a myth. Spermatozoa only survive in a special environment provided by prostatic and Bulbourethral gland secretions. Water may in fact affect the pH of semen and kill sperm,” says Dr Razvi.
Oral sex is safe sex
That is what many think since it does not involve the ‘real deal’ and lessens chances of catching infections. But according to various medical studies oral sex may be as risky as unprotected vaginal sex due to the exchange of body fluids, which may infect cuts or wounds in the mouth.
The ‘pull out’ will ensure she won’t get pregnant
One of the oldest methods of birth control, the withdrawal method, is one where the partner withdraws before he thinks he is going to ejaculate. It is the worst possible method, according to Dr Razvi. “Milliseconds before men sexually climax, the seminal vesicle fluid leaks which has the highest concentration of spermatozoa. So even a slight delay in withdrawal may result in pregnancy,” he says. This is besides the fact that some men may not have the capability or willpower to withdraw in time.
