After the show, the designer and the stars mingled with media and fans at the Manish Malhotra stall. While Arjun Rampal patiently signed autographs and posed for pictures with hundreds of female fans, Urmila graciously handled a barrage of questions from the media.

Describing Malhotra's bridal collection as chic, stylised and classy, the actress smiled at suggestions that her appearance at a bride show might be a sign of impending wedding bells for her. "I don't believe in omens. I take life as it comes," she said.

Personal style
Urmila said, "Personal style is all about individuality. I believe in adding my own personal touch to everything I wear.

"That is why even though Manish has designed for so many people, our collective effort has always been something special and looked great on screen. We understand each other's mind and try to push each other creatively."

The actress, who has not been seen on the screen for a long time, has just finished filming the song Mehbooba for Ram Gopal Varma's Sholay.

"That will be my next screen appearance. It is too early to talk about the other projects I have on hand," said Urmila. "I enjoyed singing a number on Asha Bhosle's latest album and would like to dabble again with music some day," she added.
