This is one of our favourite shops in Greece (ah, holiday memories) but with good reason: Mastic is one cool product. It’s a pine-y resin that comes from one place in Greece: The Chios Islands, and is sold by Mastiha Shop, in the form of sweets and other foods, cosmetics and skincare. Now its fragrant, delicious and reportedly anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities are available at Aswaaq Building in Jumeirah 1, Al Wasl Road. Definitely try the wafers. Zoella’s collection
The British vlogger Zoella (aka Zoe Sugg) has broken out of the confines of YouTube and landed on the shelves of Virgin Megastore with her own line of beauty products. The 25-year-old focused on her own anxiety issues when coming up with the range, with the aim of bringing about relaxation and serenity. Items, priced Dh45-69, are scented with grapefruit, jasmine and musk, and include a bath fizzers, body lotion, a bath soak/shower cream and a beauty bag.
