Dubai’s basketball lovers just got a new haunt. Basketbolista, a 120sqft store dedicated to the sport, from footwear to gear and accessories, has just opened on Al Mankhool road in Satwa. Meaning ‘basketball player’ in Tagalog, the shop, says Gulf Marketing Group, is an ode to the basketball-obsessed Filipino community. Jack Huston for Tod’s
Actor Jack Huston, who is all set to play Ben-Hur in the upcoming remake, is the face of Tod’s autumn-winter campaign. The actor is the grandson of the legendary director John Huston, and will also be seen in the upcoming films We Happy Few and The Yellow Birds. “I love Tod’s products, they’re outstanding and it has been a pleasure to work with them,” says the 33 year old who was shot by British photographer Tom Craig in Milan.
The campaign is coming soon to a billboard near you. Ben-Hur releases in the UAE on September 8.
