Designer duo Shivan & Narresh, known for their swimwear and saris, introduced their men’s resort wear range on August 27.
The duo presented their new collection, called Henri’s Affair, at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week winter-festive 2016.
The collection is inspired by the work of French painter Henri Rousseau and the designers took the artist’s work to the third dimension.
“We introduced the Shivan & Narresh man this season. It was one segment that was much awaited from the brand. Many of our clients complained their men don’t get anything to wear. The men’s range completes the honeymoon story,” Narresh said.
The duo started menswear keeping in mind the honeymoon theme but have plans to carry it forward.
“We want to start menswear as much as we did women. We will eventually build on it. Right now you saw swim and resort wear, but you will see a development in silhouettes in future,” he added.
