After a gruelling competition, the Lakme Fashion Week has shortlisted four winners for the forthcoming Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2015 show.
The female model auditions were held on Friday at Lakme Absolute Salon in New Delhi.
A panel of judges comprising experts from the Indian fashion industry such as model Noyonika Chatterjee and fashion designer Rohit Bal chose four winners out of the 90 models who had participated. The winners were Khushboo Kankan and Aishwarya Singh, Lucia Hrinakova and Klaudia Kovacova from Slovakia.
“Lakme fashion week brings the nation’s most coveted model auditions to Delhi for the first time. Addressing the need, we have reached out to provide a platform to aspiring runway talent in the capital,” Saket Dhankar, vice-president and head — fashion, IMG Reliance, said in a statement.
Purnima Lamba, head of innovation, Lakme, added that the brand expanded the platform for “the first time to Delhi with model auditions”.
“We look forward to inspire new models and help them transform into the next super models of India.”
Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2015 will be held from August 26 — August 30 at Palladium Hotel, Mumbai.
