New Delhi: Designer duo Hemant & Nandita on Saturday travelled back to the Victorian era for inspiration in their latest collection, shown at Amazon India Fashion Week’s Spring-Summer showcase.

Ruffles, stripes, flounce and flare featured on silhouettes including bandeaus, summer trench coats, dresses and skirts, in powder blue, white, mustard, orange and black.

The highlight of the range, with 15 ensembles, was the use of obi belts and broad belts.

About the collection, Nandita said: “The collection is very romantic. It has a very Victorian influence.”
