Here’s your chance to dress like Hollywood’s most stylish: H&M has announced its latest designer collaboration is with Balmain.

The Swedish chain’s pairing of high-street prices and high-end design has become something of an annual tradition, with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Lanvin and Versace having been tapped for designs in the past.

The range will be in stores worldwide — including the UAE — on November 5, and prospective shoppers should expect it to sell very quickly, if past collaborations are any indication.

The collection will feature clothing and accessories for both women and men.

H&M and Balmain made the announcement on the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 17, when the label’s creative director Olivier Rousteing and models Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner made an appearance in a sneak peek at the range.

“I want to talk to my generation: this is my main aim as a designer. H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain, getting a piece of the dream and creating a global #HMBalmaination: a movement of togetherness, fuelled on a hashtag. The collaboration felt extremely natural to me: H&M is a brand that everybody connects to. It calls for unity, and I am all for it”, said Rousteing in a statement.

Balmain is known for a heady sexy rock spirit. “We are excited to have Balmain as our guest designer at H&M and create a truly involving experience for everybody. With its mix of couture spirit and streetwear attitude, Balmain owns a unique style, at once opulent and direct, sensual and energetic. It is also closely linked to the showbusiness and music worlds, which adds another element of surprise,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor at H&M.
