Maybe it was the hair, off-ice blond, which lends itself to the black-and-white image. Maybe Riccardo Tisci, Givenchy’s creative director since 2005, just rates his mates.
The campaign shot, which appeared on Tisci’s Instagram feed on Tuesday night, sees Versace, a designer herself and longtime friend of Tisci, side on. Like Victoria Beckham’s appearance in the Juergen Teller-shot Marc Jacobs campaign — legs splayed, a giant bag in situ — it’s a headline-grabbing move. We know this because we’re writing about it.
