If Beyonce is in a music video, the odds are good she’s wearing an Indian designer.
Of course that’s in addition to sporting fresh-off-the-runway Gucci and name-dropping Givenchy.
But Indian designers have had a good run of it in the past two weeks, featuring in both Coldplay’s Hymn For The Weekend video and Beyonce’s own Formation video.
She’s wearing an embroidered Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla dress in Hymn For The Weekend.
In Formation, she’s wearing a custom-made black skirt by Falguni and Shane Peacock.
The designer duo have plenty of experience dressing music stars, with the likes of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Fergie, Madonna, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez as clients.
