Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician's Nephew

Stars The White Witch is in the book, so we'd expect to see Tilda Swinton return.

Premise Pre-dating The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, it tells the story of how the White Witch came to Narnia, also revealing the origins of the wardrobe.

Cashing in on Trying to replicate the financial success of the first movie, which raked in Dh2.6 billion at the box office. (Plus, if Tilda wins the Best Actress Oscar for We Need To Talk About Kevin, her lovely success glow too).

We'll see it because… Tilda's a legend.

Scene spell "Tumnus-disappearo!" - dissipates the un-sexiness of a faun-like McAvoy.

Burt Wonderstone

Stars Steve Carell, Jim Carrey, Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde.

Premise After splitting from his longtime stage partner, a traditional Las Vegas magician finds himself sidelined after when a new, hip street magician starts to wow the crowds.

Cashing in on The whole Seigfried and Roy traditionalists Versus the Criss Angel magic as rock'n'roll thing.

We'll see it because… Carell and Carrey at war? Hilarity ensues!

Scene spell "Rubberimenta!" - stops Carrey wrecking things with his done-to-death rubber-faced schtick.

Now You See Me

Stars Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine.

Premise Gang of magicians, overseen by an ageing criminal mastermind and illusionist, rob banks during their shows, and share the wealth with their audience.

Cashing in on Current climate of anti-financial institutions feeling.

We'll see it because… Eisenberg plays cocky. We think we'd quite enjoy that.

Scene spell "Ruffalopolis!" - to conjure up your own Mark Ruffalo.
