It looks like the stars of hit British reality show The Only Way Is Essex aren’t just getting their tans from a bottle these days: tabloid! can reveal the two of the show’s stars will be in the UAE this weekend for a day and night of beachside music and fun.
Joey Essex -- whose Dubai-set proposal to his girlfriend Sam Faiers was a major highlight of the current season -- will host the party at Nasimi Beach, Atlantis The Palm, on Friday. No word yet on whether Faiers will accompany him to what is clearly a special place for the pair, although organisers say “celebrity friends” will accompany him.
DJing will be another cast member, Lauren Pope, who has been with the show since season one debuted in 2010.
Resident DJs Smoking Groove, David Craig and Conan Manchester also play. Free before 7pm, Dh100 after, and the dress code is beach chic. 21 and over only; call 050-2004321.
