I'm in the process of putting together an iPod playlist for a friend's upcoming London wedding, so a lot of my weekend will be spent on iTunes pretending to source ultimate party tracks, but probably just playing Call Me Maybe on repeat. It is addictive! Friday a.m. will be spent fighting other ladies at a top-secret, invite-only Louboutin sale to which Lucy and I have been invited (and I'm fully prepared to take her down too, if the need arises), followed by a review of the new brunch at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse at The Address Dubai Marina. This week, I intend to get stuck into series one of Game Of Thrones, which Nyree has lent me - I've heard Peter Dinklage is a bad*** - and I feel a facial coming on, so a call into to one of my faves, Thai Privilege Spa, is looming. Summer pores? Ugh!

This Thursday I’m finally trying the Iraqi fish restaurant in Jumeirah my friends have been raving about – Samad Al Iraqi. The Jumeirah Beach Park Plaza spot grills fish over a traditional open-flamed maskouf, and I’ve heard the results are amaze! But I’ll most definitely be saving room for dessert, as just upstairs is Circle Café, which makes the best brownies I’ve ever eaten. Later in the weekend I’ll be partaking in a few rounds of my new-found summer boredom-buster, bowling. Mr Nyree and I have reignited our love for the alley at Festival Centre’s Bowling City. Currently, gutter bowls are a regular occurrence, but I’ll only get better, right? Later in the week I’m hoping to meet Salman Khan when he comes over to launch Being Human with Splash and Iconic (legend!), while also getting a few early morning pre-work sea swims in before the ocean turns to soup in July and August.

After kicking off Friday with a dawn shoe shopping fest at a super-exclusive Christian Louboutin sale, I’m going to be nurturing a few elbow-induced bruises this weekend (not to mention a severely battered credit card), so I’ll be recuperating on a sunlounger, and kissing goodbye to my secret beach spot between the Hilton and The Ritz-Carlton before the summer heat takes hold. On Saturday, it’s a belated birthday catch-up (read: brunch followed by a shopping spree) with my oldest pal Tamila, and since my birthday is approaching, it’s time to update my gift list – which is topped by this Alexander McQueen clutch. Mr Lucy, take note!

This weekend I’m packing my bags and heading off on a mini road trip to Fujairah. We’re checking into Sandy Beach for a weekend of sun, sea, sand and snorkelling, it’s going to be a very chilled BBQs-by-the-beach, lazy kind of weekend and I can’t wait. Then it’s Father’s Day on Sunday, so we’ll be taking Dad out to one of his favourite restaurants for a lovely family meal, I’m thinking The Rivington Grill or Latin eatery Toro Toro. And it’s not looking like a quiet week, as it’s my friend Harry’s birthday on Tuesday, so we’ll all be going to Mahiki for some ladies night birthday fun, I’m seeing a Treasure Chest in her future. Happy Birthday, Harry!
