Want to hear Bollywood hunk Ranbir Kapoor talk about his wild, youthful days? Your wish has just been granted.
Kapoor will be in Dubai this Thursday to talk up his much-anticipated romantic drama Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewaani.
The Barfi! actor will be in town along with his co-stars from the film Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur. It’s yet to be determined whether Kapoor’s ex-girfriend and YJHD’s leading lady Deepika Padukone will be part of the Dubai entourage.
“We are trying our best to bring in Deepika Padukone for the Dubai press junket. She has some shooting commitments on that day, but we are hoping she will join Ranbir and team,” said Rashid Saeed, the managing director of Dubai’s Essar Events, organiser of the visit.
As always, the stars have a packed schedule. They will meet the press in the afternoon and then devote time for their UAE fans. At 7pm, the young team will be at Oasis Centre on Shaikh Zayed Road for a fan meet and greet, followed by a private dinner at It’s Indi restaurant in Jumeirah.
Directed by Ayan Mukherji of Wake Up Sid fame, YJHD has been in the news for quite a while, as the romantic saga re-unites ex-flames Kapoor and Padukone on the big screen. It’s a film about friends in the throes of quarter-life crisis, seizing life with both hands and of course discovering love and break-ups.
