Dubai’s going to get some royal British flavour next month.

Kensington Palace has announced His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales will attend a dinner to raise funds for a charity he co-founded called Sentebale on October 7.

The dinner at J W Marriott Marquis Hotel will held in association with Al Jalila Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

They will raise funds for Sentebale’s Mamohato Children’s Centre of Excellence in Lesotho, where the charity is based. The new centre will allow Sentebale to scale up the Mamohato Programme, which addresses the emotional and psychological needs of children living with HIV, said a release by Kensington Palace.

Prince Harry follows on the footsteps of his grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, who came to Abu Dhabi on a two-day state visit to the UAE in 2010.
