Filipino artists Aiza Seguerra and Joey Generoso are returning to Dubai to perform in a concert dubbed Acoustic Journey on August 5 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Acoustic singer-songwriter Seguerra, who has been a regular performer in Dubai, will make her Filipino fans fall in love again with her soulful and soothing voice. The concert will be Seguerra’s biggest venue yet.
Seguerra became famous as a child star after her appearance in Little Miss Philippines, a competition on a noon-time TV show, and then went on to pursue a career in music. She scored her first major hit with Pagdating ng Panahon (When the Time Comes).
Generoso is an OPM legend and former frontman of Side A band. Generoso left the band to pursue a solo career. Side A was formed in 1985 and was active on the Filipino music scene in the 1980s until the early 2000s. One of the band’s best-known hits is Forevermore.
Acoustic Journey will also feature Fil-Australian singer/actor James Wright, dubbed the Pop Heartthrob, as a guest performer.
