Tyrese Gibson is making a comeback on Saturday. To XL Beach Club, that is.
“Open to the public! This Sat at club XL Dubai, energy is gonna be insane,” Gibson tweeted on Wednesday along with a photo of the event flyer.
Organisers told tabloid! that Gibson went to XL Beach Club at the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa last Saturday (April 12) for an unofficial visit and arranged to come back this Saturday for an official performance of up to 45 minutes. Will the other Fast & Furious 7 stars be in attendance?
“For [Tyrese], we can confirm,” a spokesperson said. “But for the others, we can’t confirm if they have other commitments.”
During his personal visit to the UAE to celebrate his birthday, Gibson performed at XL Beach Club on January 9 and made an appearance at The Act on December 29.
Co-stars Michelle Rodriguez, Vin Diesel and Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges are currently in the UAE to film Fast & Furious 7, though the production crew has been tight-lipped about locations and schedule. This weekend is expected to be the stars’ last in the country. Since their arrivals, they have been spotted at Burj Al Arab, Skydive Dubai and the Julius Baer Beach Polo Cup. They were said to be partying at Etoiles nightclub at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday night, where Rodriguez had made an official appearance in 2012.
