Dubai: A concert by one Philippine showbiz’s most popular couples has been cancelled, tabloid! has learned. Husband-and-wife singers Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez were due to perform in Dubai on July 5 at Al Wasl Sports Complex. In a statement, organisers Pulse International said they are “very sad that the concert on 5th July 2013 dubbed as Mr. & Mrs. A has been cancelled due to some technical reasons which led to unmet deadlines and requirements that are not in our hands.”
The concert was due to be the couple’s first performance in the UAE since 2010. Pulse added that they hope to reschedule the concert for later this year. “Rest assured our event will be moved to a latter date hopefully by the last quarter of the year where it will be advised soon.”
