All eyes may be on the robots of Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder and their sprawling, collaborative Grammy set, but the line-up for the awards telecast just got a new jolt of star power.

Avant-pop singer Lorde and Katy Perry are among the acts recently confirmed to perform during the January 26 telecast. Each has multiple nominations in major categories.

In another of Grammy’s more curious pairings, Chinese pianist Lang Lang will join metal pioneers Metallica for a one-off set. The thrashers oversaw their feature-film theatrical debut last year with the half-concert flick, half-thriller Metallica: Through the Never.

Robin Thicke, he of the year’s bestselling (and raunchy) single Blurred Lines, will also team up with the smooth-soul combo Chicago.

They join previously announced collaborations between Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons, Pink with Nate Ruess of Fun., and a round-table featuring Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Blake Shelton.

The Grammy telecast airs on January 26 at 8pm in the US.
