Lebanese singer and actress Maya Nasri married Egyptian filmmaker Ihab Lamahi last week.
Nasri and Lamahi were married in a church in Beirut according to the Egyptian tradition. The groom presented a bouquet of sunflowers to Nasri, saying: "You are the sun and the flowers are turning around you".
The wedding was attended by Nasri's family as well as her college mates and her childhood friends from her remote village of Meniara in Akkar (North Lebanon).
Nasri and Lamahi, who met during the shooting of Al Diktator (The Dictator), will work together again in Beit Mimi (Mimi's House).
