A former producer of Kristen Stewart’s has defended her in a bizarre series of tweets, claiming her affair with Rupert Sanders was not sexual.
“I’ll say right now what the manipulative media isn’t saying... Kristen Stewart did not have any type of sex with Rupert Sanders,” wrote Giovanni Agnelli.
Italian Agnelli took to Twitter to defend the starlet, who starred in his film Welcome To The Rileys.
“The spin that keeps growing on this story is staggering,” he wrote. “There was NO on set affair. Stop printing LIES.”
Kristen has publicly apologised to boyfriend Robert Pattinson following her ‘affair’ with father-of-two Sanders, who directed her in Snow White And The Huntsmen.
Kristen and Robert, who met on the set of Twilight, appear to have both moved out of the house they share together in Los Angeles following the affair.
Agnelli, who is single, told his Twitter fans that he thought of Kristen as his ‘sister’.
“If one of your friends in real life was hurting, and lots of people were being cruel. Wouldn’t you ask them to please stop? Honestly?” he wrote.
His name trended on Twitter as he reacted to Twilight fans discussing the affair. If you’ve ever used the word Trampire you’re mindless and pathetic, he wrote. He also hinted he knew Kristen’s whereabouts following a ‘twitition’ by her fans pledging their support to her following the affair.
He added: “Please don’t ask how or where she is, or what she thought. Just know this: She saw the twitition, and the support video tonight. Thank you.”
