Korean actor Sung Hoon will be in the UAE for a two-day visit, which includes meeting fans at a special event on October 6 in Abu Dhabi. The star of The Secret Romance will be at the Armed Forces Officers Club from 4pm for a two-hour interactive session that will even put his singing and DJing talent to the test.

In a media statement, Hoon said: “I am happy to have the opportunity to show my fans a different side to me besides acting. I am preparing to reveal various charms, so please look forward to the event; [I] can’t wait to meet Arab fans from the first time.”

Organised by The Maryam Studio, aside from fan interactions, Hoon will also meet the media at the Korean Culture Centre, Abu Dhabi a day earlier, while October 7 will see the 34-year-old star play tourist and visit major landmarks across the capital.

Hoon first shot to fame in the early 2000s when he became a member of the Korean national swim team. But due to a spinal injury, the budding actor soon found his calling in films when he successfully auditioned for the lead role in New Tales of a Gisaeng. Over the years, his acting credits include the Chinese drama The Bodyguard, along with the mini-series Noble, My Love.

Fans who want to see the actor live can find tickets starting at Dh120.
