The institution of the Dubai Friday brunch just got another round of celebrity backing to liven things up a bit, with a generous serving of UK reality TV star and ‘90s pop icon, Peter Andre.
Andre, whose 1996 smash hit Mysterious Girl is the stuff of legends, will take to the stage at the Wow! That’s What I Call Brunch on October 27. The Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre retro-themed brunch, which just hosted Atomic Kitten and Culture Beat, are promising to “set the stage alight” with Andre’s “iconic songs and dance moves”, according to a statement.
After a stint in I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here in 2004, Andre went on to release an album in 2009 titled Revelation, which had the hit single, Behind Closed Doors. A year later, he released his sixth new album, Accelerate. Since, he has also been a contestant of the reality TV show Strictly Come Dancing in 2015.
The brunch, which takes place in the hotel’s ballroom, starts at Dh350 and runs from 1.30pm until 4.30pm.
