Hollywood loves Hillary Clinton. Since announcing her run in April, the Democratic candidate vying for the US presidency has amassed over $75,000 (Dh275,486) from A-list celebrities including Reese Witherspoon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg, Ben Affleck and Quincy Jones, according to Politico.

Each gave $2,700 to her campaign, the highest donation amount allowed for the primary. Longtime Clinton supporter Barbra Streisand donated the maximum she can give the campaign by donating $2,700 for the primary and $2,700 for the general election, Variety reported. Other celebrities who gave to Clinton include Magic Johnson, Dakota Fanning, Adam Shankman, Larry Flynt, Craig Newmark and Ari Emanuel. In addition to offering financial support, celebrities have made appearances to support Clinton on her campaign. Tobey Maguire hosted a California fund-raising stop, while Beyonce Knowles-Carter, Sharon Osbourne and Meghan Trainor were spotted attending a Clinton fund-raiser in May. In total, Clinton’s camp reported raising roughly $47.5 million this quarter from more than 250,000 contributors, according to the first campaign finance report filed with the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday.
