Anna Kendrick, already known as an actress and singer, will soon show off her literary side.

At least, she’ll try.

Touchstone announced on Thursday that the star of such films as Up in the Air and Pitch Perfect and performer of the hit single Cups (When I’m Gone) has a deal for a collection of autobiographical essays. The publisher, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, says the book is currently untitled and is scheduled to be released in autumn 2016.

In a statement issued through Touchstone, Kendrick joked that the book was her chance to demonstrate her “ineptitude, pettiness, and the frequency with which” she embarrasses herself.

Kendrick, 29, was an Oscar nominee for Up in The Air and a Tony nominee for High Society.
