Strong as ever

Kuwaiti presenter Halima Boland denied rumours about her split from her husband, Abdul Salam Khebbayzeh. She said that he is her first and hopefully will be her last love. "Our love story began in college. He asked my father's permission to marry me thrice. My father refused twice and accepted the third time," she said.

Talking about her husband, Boland said that "even if he is always away from the spotlight, Abdul Salam is my most important advisor and a very sharp critic. Since he cares about my interest, he always tells me the truth. He is indeed my partner in success because he is my absolute supporter".

She explained that her relationship with her husband "is like all relationships — it has it ups and downs but love stays stronger than everything".

Boland is the host of Akher Man Yahlam. For the first time in her career, her husband appeared with her on TV to deny rumours of their divorce. On the show, Boland talked, among other things, about her Barbie doll collection. "I love Barbie, all her accessories and all her clothes," she confessed.
