Dubai: The Formula One excitement just keeps picking up, and this news should shift it into top gear: British DJ Mark Ronson will headline a night at Allure By Cipriani on November 13, the night of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Ronson, who had a massive hit with Amy Winehouse’s Valerie and most recently with the single Bang Bang Bang, will close five nights of dance music events at the Yas Island-based club, which has been a focus of trackside partying since the inaugural Grand Prix in 2009.
Tickets for Ronson’s night are Dh350. Other acts include DJ N.I.K.O.L.A. and Trix on November 9 (free entry), local stars DJ Bliss and Greg Stainer on November 10 (Dh100), the debut UAE performance of Marien Baker on the Friday (Dh200), and ex-NBA star-turned-DJ Rony Seikaly and Mykonos regular Vassili Tsilichristos on Saturday (Dh350).
