‘Some lies can be deadly’— reads the tag line of Pranav Mohanlal’s debut film, Aadhi.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph (of Drishyam fame), Aadhi is an action thriller. Mohanlal Jr. plays an aspiring musician in the lead.
“There is a crisis in Aadhi’s life and how he survives that forms the rest of the story,” said Joseph.
Shot in Ernakulam and Bengaluru, Aadhi is supported by actors such as Lena, Siddique, Anusree and Aditi Ravi.
Pranav assisted Joseph on the sets of Life of Josukutty and Papanasam before taking the plunge into acting.
“Pranav is a talented actor who will establish his own style,” said Joseph. Pranav has also written the lyrics and rendered a retro English song for the film.
Satheesh Kurup is the cinematographer. Anil Johnson has composed music.
Aadhi is produced by Aashirwad Cinemas and Antony Perumbavoor, and releases on January 26.
