Meet Parvathy Ratheesh, the new kid on the block
Malayalam director Sugeeth, who debuted with comedy-drama Ordinary starring Biju Menon and Kunchako Boban in the leads returns with Madhura Naranga, with the pair.
This romantic drama is set in the UAE and features newcomer Parvathy Ratheesh (daughter of late actor Ratheesh) opposite Boban. Ratheesh is remembered for his role in Ulkkadal, directed by K.G. George. Another notable performance was seen in I.V. Sasi’s Ee Nadu.
The films were part of Ratheesh’s childhood.
“I was taken in by the attention my father received as an actor,” recalled Ratheesh, “and I knew I would be an actor someday.”
She realises her long-cherished dream with Madhura Naranga, but before that, she followed her mother’s suggestion and got a degree first. After working for eleven months in the corporate world, this MBA graduate quit it to do films.
Thanking director Sugeeth and co-actors Menon and Boban for taking special efforts to guide her on this new journey, Ratheesh looks forward to doing more films.
Madhura Naranga was shot in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai and Ajman.
