Nani, the king of romance, returns with Ninnu Kori, which releases across UAE cinemas on July 7.
Directed by debutant Shiva Nirvana, this Telugu film also features Nivetha Thomas and Aadhi. Nani plays Uma, a middle-class resident from Visakhapatnam, whose dreams take him to San Fransisco.
Nirvana says: “All love stories end at a point, my story begins from that point.”
With a tag line that reads, “Let’s welcome life”, Nirvana adds: “It is high on emotional moments.”
Working with Nani on his first film is something Nirvana cherishes. The former school teacher says: “Nani believed in the content of the script.”
Thomas, an accomplished actress in Malayalam and Tamil cinema, plays the affluent Pallavi. This is her second Telugu film; her first, Gentleman, opposite Nani, was a success.
There are two aspects to Pallavi’s character, explains Nirvana. In one stage of her life, she is cool and casual, but in a later stage of life, she gains maturity.
Aadhi plays Arun in this triangular love story.
