The wedding, which took place on January 22nd, was a relatively low-profile ceremony attended by their close family and friends. But the big guns were drawn for the reception held at the Lulu Convention Centre.
Actors including Manju Warrier, Nazriya Fahadh, Rima Kallingal, Mammootty, Prithviraj and Indrajit turned up in full force to congratulate the couple in person.
Bhavana, who had swapped her wedding outfit that included golden silk sari and conservative ethnic temple jewellery to a glittering gold lehenga/statement necklace for the reception, was the picture of contentment.
The star-studded turnout was a testament to Bhavana’s goodwill among her peers The Adam Joan star, who has now become the symbol of women empowerment and resilience, was seen greeting the guests warmly and introducing her Kannadiga filmmaker to her Malayali friends.
Warrier, who is a close friend of Bhavana and has stood by her during her tough times, took to her Facebook account to express her happiness for the couple.
“May the new journey ahead be fantastic,crazy, wonderful, unbelievable and unforgettable! God bless you my dear ones!,” she posted in Malayalam.
Mammootty, who is all set to take over Dubai this weekend, also blessed the newly-wedded couple. Bhavana and he had worked together in a film before.
Actors Prithviraj and his brother Indrajit were accompanied by their wives as they posed for pictures, while actor Anoop Menon was also a part of the guest-list.
