As a little boy, Thomas was fascinated with stories of Sherlock Holmes (the private detective from Arthur Conan Doyle’s book), earning himself the sobriquet, Sherlock Toms. And this fascination continues even into his adult life, so much so that when he is posted as an IRS (Indian Revenue Service) officer, his detective skills come into play while investigating a case of black money.
Directed by Shafi, Sherlock Toms is based on a story written by Sachy and Najim Koya, this comic thriller features Biju Menon in the lead. Srinda plays Thomas’s wife, a nagging shrew. The supporting cast includes Mia George (as a channel reporter), Salim Kumar, Vijayaraghavan, Suresh Krishna and Kalabhavan Shajon.
