Vidya Balan is suffering from dengue.
The 38-year-old Bollywood actress, who was to be the show stopper for designer Gaurang Shah and Mira Sagar’s Shringar show and exhibition at Taj Dubai on Saturday, posted the news on her Facebook page.
“I regret that I will not be able to attend Gaurang’s events in Dubai and Hyderabad, as I am down with dengue,” wrote the actress. “I was looking forward to being there and will miss meeting all you handloom lovers… I wish Gaurang and Mira all the very best for the shows.”
However, the show will continue with Shah and Sagar presenting the collection.
“It’s disappointing but it’s not in our hands. Neither of us can do anything. She was very keen on coming and all plans were in place,” Shah told tabloid!. “But, as they, the show must go on. We will try and make up for it.”
The actress is currently working on Kahaani 2 and Begum Jaan.
