Actress Sunny Leone says she doesn’t want to be an actress forever.

“For me, it can’t be just about the movies. Unfortunately, that’s the world we live in. If you want to be successful as a business person or an entertainment person, you have to branch out in every way possible,” Leone said.

The former adult film actress had her big break in India with reality show Bigg Boss in 2011. She starred in her debut film Jism 2 the next year.

Leone said it is important for anyone who is in the entertainment industry to branch out.

“For me, making movies is not going to be forever. It can’t be. It is not going to last. The big question always is, ‘what is the plan then?’” the Mastizaade star said.

After her debut film, Leone went on to work in several movies such as Jackpot, Ragini MMS 2 and Ek Paheli Leela. She recently shot an item song with actor Shah Rukh Khan for his upcoming film Raees.

The 35-year-old said she wants to make the most of the opportunities coming her way with no fear of not getting work in the future.

“It’s not a fear, it is a reality. When you’re doing well, it feels this is going to last forever. So many offers come in. Luckily for me, those offers are there and everything is going amazing now,” Leone said.

“But this is the time that if I don’t take the money I am making and invest it into something bigger... then I am silly,” she added.

Leone recently launched her own perfume brand, Lust.

The actress, who was last seen in One Night Stand, said the decision to launch a perfume line was not impulsive.

“I am very calculated, so is my husband [Daniel Weber]. We take calculated risks and invest in things. Nothing is done impulsively. We decide what is the best and this was the perfect thing to do,” Leone said.

Apart from the perfume line, the actress has her own app-based game and has written a book of short stories.
