Sunny Leone has hit back at a leader of Communist Party of India (CPI), Atul Kumar Anjan, for saying that a condom advertisement featuring the actress would lead to an increase in rape cases in the country. Sunny has urged “people of power” to focus on helping those in need instead.
“Sad when people in power waste their time and energy on me, instead of focusing on helping those in need!!! #SHAME #EPICFAIL,” Sunny tweeted on September 3, 2015.
Anjan, while addressing a rally in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, said that a condom advertisement featuring the Jism 2 star will be the cause for more rapes in the country.
The leader claimed that Sunny’s condom advertisement will trigger the tendency among men to commit rapes and that it was developing sexuality and ruining sensibilities.
